CyberLeek publishes manifesto with three demands for Rockstar

A website tied to CyberLeek lays out three 'commandments' — ending pre-release digital preorders, ending paid unlocks of content already on-disc, and mandating offline fallback patches when servers close — citing Ubisoft's shutdown of The Crew as justification, and says leaks continue until Rockstar issues a public apology.
“CYBERLEEK will not stop until they issue a public statement and apology with a concrete commitment to be better. Words are not enough; restitution is mandatory.”

GTA 6 hackers say new leak is meant to punish Rockstar for the game's lack of discs https://www. polygon.com/gta-6-hackers-cybe rleek-physical-discs/?utm_source=flipboard&utm_medium=activitypub Posted into Xbox @ xbox-polygon

The game looked pretty much complete, minus some UI finalization and animation touch-up. It looks fucking amazing and it really seems they're going for a more down to earth, realistic approach with a lot of the new (implied) mechanics, like how they supposedly have the Mafia 2 wanted system where the cops remember your vehicle and clothes and…

Big GTA 6 map leak looks legit, and may reveal scope of the game https://www. polygon.com/gta-6-map-leak-roc kstar-games/?utm_source=flipboard&utm_medium=activitypub Posted into Grand Theft Auto @ grand-theft-auto-polygon

But just based on the footage I've seen, it looks like a much more refined GTA V (might be stating the obvious here). It doesn't seem like the same kind of leap we saw going from San Andreas → IV or even IV → V. That said, there appear to be a number of new "systems" and gameplay mechanics in place just from what I've seen in the footage. The map…

Apparently, leaked gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto 6. What can I say? Looks very GTA-y! Just over a minute. https:// web.archive.org/web/2026081817 5804/

There are a million ways that can break down and fail. Transaction links, IP mapping, shared inputs, device seizures, various forms of data demixing and stripping, asset matching, man-in-the-middle attacks....it's only (pseudo)anonymous until it isn't. You could keep it anonymous with insane efforts, but it's best to not pretend it is for the sake…

come for the news, stay for the leakers' sephiroth manifesto

Why would Rockstar give a shit? Nobody is not going to buy the game because of a leak. The only people who are going to pick it apart are the same people who are foaming at the mouth to play it. This launch will register noticeably on the world's finances. Rockstar will flick a booger at their lawyers to getim' and go back to rubbing their nipples…

I once found myself in a similar situation. A package came through without any label or identifying info (couldn't deliver it or return it) and it contained ~15 copies of Black Ops 1 a week before release. I only snagged one copy and didn't go around blabbing about it though. My buddies and I were paranoid so we just stayed offline and ripped…

This game is gonna be so polished and beautiful. The gold standard for years to come. Insane that we're 6 years into this console generation and only now finally seeing what the next generation of games from the PS4 and Xbone before it, are truly capable of. Shame how few titles we'll ever see on the same level, at least in the coming few years at…

to be fair Ocarina of Time is still one of my favorite games ever, if I didn't know the announcement was coming I'd be shitting bricks at that Nintendo Direct, and yet, despite being very happy, it simply wasn't the same after being spoiled Even if I think it's weird that the announcement will have a 6h "pay wall" I still prefer being surprised
-
we simply haven’t seen enough to determine that. but really 5 came out in 2013 and in terms of NPC reactivity and the open world being interactive and dynamic/emergent; it’s looking to be a big step up from V -> VI and that’s if they ported over the RDR2 systems with little improvement. which is a low expectation imo
-
I mean it could be for me GTA4 was fun but 5 was just the same thing and RD1 was also the same just with horses. There is this thing companies do called innovate. But since clearly most the people here are children with no job buying it on mommy’s credit card I can’t expect anyone to know what that means
-
Honestly I’m expecting the worst and hoping for the best. Not getting this game until everyone figures out where this game will be in the months and years following release. Grew up with GTA, but not getting disappointed on my own accord lol. Not worth it over a video game.
-
Hype is weird. I was so hyped in 1999 for Phantom Menace and then it punched us in the stomach with sucking. I was also hyped for Fellowship of the Ring in 2001 and it exceeded expectations. If it is a good game, it will feel terrific. I can't see it being terrible.
-
RDR2 is nothing like gta V feeling or mechanics wise. so a blend of the two would already be a big improvement. and that’s if they didn’t add on to that which they obviously would. i swear the entire internet is experiencing mass psychosis or something
-
Why would Rockstar give a shit? They have a massive hate boner for leaks. They also love to be in absolute control of everything and the leaker has robbed them of that. They're striking down all the leaked footage. They'll be after him in full force.
-
That’s the saddest part about leaks. Imagine spending years on a game just for people too feel underwhelmed because they are judging an in-development build without final polishing…
-
Correct. It'll also blow people's minds how "complete" GTA has been. They've been fixing and adding more stuff but it was very playable as a full game for 3+ years at this point.
-
This is only going to build more hype for the game and get more pre-orders for the game GTA VI is already the biggest game of the year and it doesn’t even come out until November
-
The leaks look insane. Can't wait for this game, the visual upgrade from V is more significant than I expected, and the scale of the world looks seriously impressive.
-
Wtf are you smoking? Rockstar has been milking GTA Online for 13 years. This is the first time it's taken over a decade to get the next GTA installment.
-
Ok, I am with you with the relative pricing analogy. In this case, it is just the manufacturers who are getting the benefit of cheaper production.

Redditors are saying the video metadata says it’s from 2023 I’m just wondering who’s leaking these videos and leaving traceable metadata in them
