If it’s Iran then it’s beyond stupid of them to try this. The UK has been one of many, many countries trying to desclate their conflict. Depending on extent of severity (if there is indication that a very large explosive was planned) than it’s not unreasonable to assume there be a heavy response. Even more favouring Trump’s policies on Iran. If…

This is an air base that holds US troops and planes. Given russias increased sabotage efforts across Europe and the fact that the people arrested are suspected/charged with possession of explosives, then it may very well be Russian FSB at play. However, considering the fact that the base houses US troops and planes as mentioned, it is not…

Or, it could be radicals like that who are being radicalized and 'nudged' towards taking violent actions by foreign intelligence operatives. The Russians, or Iranians or even the Chinese probably are more than happy to run influence operations among anti-US/Israel groups to get them to commit attacks on US military assets.

Wild to think you could get away with anything in the Gloucestershire countryside without some nosy hedge-peeper spotting you. Dead plan from the start. There is their problem. Clearly they were seen as a disturbance and she was only acting for the Greater Good.

Both countries of which the UK still trades with. I just checked, around half a billion USD to each country. Plus many more billions, if you factor in that we buy russian oil and gas still, just routed through other countries.
