🔴 BREAKING US Presses Europe to Release Diesel Reserves Amid Iran War The US urged European allies to immediately release strategic diesel reserves to curb prices driven by the war in Iran. This pressure follows President Trump's suggestion of banning US diesel exports, with EU states scheduled to discuss a coordinated response. 📰 https://www…

Because of the lie that a trade deficit = a country being ripped off. If a trade deficit is so unfair, then it begs the question, what the hell is fair about Australia's trade deficit? As for 'not that free of a ride'. I mean, you can't even find one thing other than the PBS. Which is covered by tariffs anyway, and relies on the flawed logic that…

The Trump administration has told Germany and France to draw down emergency diesel inventories to help ease soaring global fuel prices or face a potential US diesel export ban, according to three people close to the discussions. https://www. reuters.com/business/energy/us…

What are those subsidies specifically? We're meeting our AUKUS obligations. We even allowed the US to change the submarines that we get. There's a 100% tariff on our pharmaceuticals, because apparently if US drug companies make more money, they'll pass the savings on to you. Like that's ever happened in the history of economics. So you've already…

Better phrased: Americans will not put in additional effort for actions that might have repercussions. They can just leave their job and protest, actually. Could you get fired? Yes. Could you lose your home? Yes. Consequences are likely. But the alternative consequence you've already accepted was losing the country to authoritarians that are…

Trump overweegt exportverbod diesel, 'zou heel Europa veel last van hebben'

Yes there’s a lag crude has to come back before refined products like motor oil and diesel. Crude is back already, which is why we’re asking our allies to chew through their stock while the crude gets turned into refined products. Russia was the 2nd largest exporter in the world of diesel and they’ve lost 30% of our production and they’re no…

Using EU diesel/gasoil stocks only, the answer is roughly 10–11 days of U.S. diesel/distillate consumption. Eurostat’s latest stock table shows about 5.38 million tonnes of heating and other gasoil in EU stocks. That converts to roughly 40 million barrels of gasoil/diesel, depending on density. The U.S. is currently consuming about 3.95 million…

Yeah, we're repeating now. How much of the current export was pre loaded tankers just clearing out now? How fast are new tankers being loaded? Per your link Commodities analytics firm Kpler reported Saudi oil exports were at average levels for 2025, while maritime intelligence company Windward said Saudi terminals loaded four times more oil than…

We’re not drunk, our goal is to destroy the IRGC or severely diminish their influence in the Middle East, which is happening. Our allies want this to, but they don’t want to contribute unless they have to. We’re not going to dump our reserves and sell them our production when they’re stacking it during a shortage. If they want to do that, we’ll…

Except what we’re doing is working. Oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz is at pre-war levels for everyone EXCEPT Iran. Oil prices are elevated because Russians refineries, which used to supply Europe with almost all its diesel, are blown up. I’m not saying Ukraine shouldn’t do it, I’m just saying Biden specifically help weapons from Zelensky…

Most countries are moving away from (or are trying) to move from anything critical supplied by the US and us companies. Trump threatened to turn off access to visa and Mastercard to the EU. They are working on their own system. There's projects like EuroOffice, the joint venture between the EU and canada to cut out American military manufactures…

Well, at least for me as a european, there was one thing i was always sure: That you guys would honour Article 5. I don't believe that piece of paper anymore. Europe is alone now. The USA build the multipolar world that Putin & Xi always wanted. By ruining the greatest alliance network ever archived on earth, build in decades, in mere month.

Yes, your military power is really showing in the Iran war 🙄 did you know the sailors on the ship you just sent, have been instructed to prep for 8 months deployment? And your economy is dying in front of our eyes. Your debt has risen above your GDP. Thats the deathblow. Everything after that point is the death throes of a dying empire

As a US citizen living in another country, I try my hardest to buy only things from the country I have made my home, and if not, then from countries that are friendly to my home. The US can keep what they have, I'm only a citizen of the US because I was born there, something I had nothing to do with and would not choose for myself.
-
Well what can I say, the DAFT treaty at least offers opportunity in a non-reciprocal manner. Generally, if a company sponsors you you can figure the visa stuff out to get here. If I can get a job in the US, the acquiring a visum is near impossible, and so companies don’t even really consider it. There’s a real imbalance there.

So, we started som shit and created a global oil crunch, then demand our allies to help "contribute" to not letting it all go to complete shit? Not much of a polite ask, seems more like a hostage situation. We're kinda like the drunk friend at the bar starting fights and demanding our friends have our back.
-
There's a matter of how much was backlogged preloaded tankers that should've gone through 6 months ago and what is the current reloading capacity of more tankers to sustain this flow? Crude is one product. Refined fuel and product shipments (like diesel) remain constrained at roughly 58% of prewar volume.

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Middle-East-Oil-Exports-Stage-a-Remarkable-Comeback.amp.html Also your second link quoted Iran tanker loadings plunged to zero, which I’ve been saying the entire time. Iran’s production had been zeroed out, while everyone else’s has returned to. normal.

Wait, so Europe gets to keep its energy reserves in case it needs them later, but America can’t do an export ban during a diesel shortage to keep its energy in house? What a double standard. If this were water, why would I give you water during low rainfall when you have a dam full of water?

Remember the guy who secretly recorded his interactions with heritage foundation people? They said that project 2025 was just the part that the public saw. The private part was never posted online, it was only printed and handed out to people they trusted. So, it's worse than what we know.
