Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, speaking on the same panel, said the rapid pace of AI buildout will keep hardware in short supply through 2028–2029, with memory chips potentially among the first segments to see cooling demand.
“A lot of investors have no clue what they are investing in. They set very extreme expectations only to find out that it's almost like they are in a casino.”

Great observation about the ease of working with structured data, but you are wrong. they pivoted almost completely to software development They did not. AI originated from code autocomplete stuff. It's good/best at that because that's where it started. They did not pivot to it. That's what coders who write AI tools use, so that's naturally…

AI can't be held legally liable for damages, so in terms of quality assurance and regulatory compliance it is useless. This is exactly why I roll my eyes when people say AI will replace lawyers. AI can't be sued for malpractice, etc. Until and unless an AI company fully stands behind its product and indemnifies customers for the same things an…

You missed math. If most of these proofs OpenAI released turn out to be correct, they matched years worth of output from all human mathematicians. There were multiple papers that are Fields Medal worthy if true. I also would be surprised if it doesn't generalize at all to some of the other sciences given the similarities.
-
Open AI would not have missed their IPO in a market where the AI hype is off the charts if they had anything. Anthropic will do the same thing and then it all crashes under the weight of billions and billions of debt.
-
The proofs are all built on existing human work and done by mathematicians using LLMs extrapolated and tested our billions of times. They are not novel solutions the LLMs figured out on their own.
