🇺🇦🇺🇸 The lifting of sanctions on Russia will continue, and the diesel deal is just the first step, — Zelensky This is how the president assessed Trump's decision not to apply restrictions under Lindsey Graham Act. The easing of sanctions does not stop Putin, but gives him a sense of support.

I agree. There is a large percentage of people (28% or so) that still support the guy… right now! I’m not saying other countries can’t fall to the same type of populism. Right now, the billionaire elites of the world are rallying to the most right wing populist parties to try and counter a resurgence of the left wing (even tame centre left…

Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026: The legislation allows the president to suspend or waive the specified sanctions and tariffs simply by notifying and certifying to Congress that doing so is in the "national interests of the United States". - Google Unbelievable stupidity

It is actively losing that status as we speak. Countries are uncoupling from the US as we speak. This is a process that takes years and isn't reversible. So that's why politicians are finally uncoupling now and why they were so reluctant to do it in his first term despite everything he already did then. But the US voters electing him again, proves…

Do you know what is in the national interest? Removing this traitor from office.
-
I don't even think it's so much he worships them. I think he's afraid of them. He might like to talk up a macho image but I actually think he's the afraid schoolboy sucking up to the bully in the hopes he won't be the bully's target. He grew up in the cold war and I think the reason he sucks up to Putin so much is he's terrified if he doesn't that…

As an Australian supporting Gaza and Ukraine, I’d say the US is now an enemy state.

No no. They knew. And if they didn't, then they are very simple. This was all telegraphed the first time he took office. He ruined everything that helped people get healthcare that wasn't insanely expensive. He ruined many other things. All the man wants to do is make it easier for the Billionaires that run things to make more money. And make…

MAGA… could he possibly make it any clearer, you brainwashed fucking chuds.

One plausible option. I want to believe the actual patriotic conservatives are contemplating crossing the punishment line to save their own career and party. RU would ensure Trump lives well for rest of his days and US would have yet another black eye in such a scenario. On other hand. US is going to be politically charged even more for years to…

So everything Trump hates is supposedly a national security issue but Russia which is a national security issue is now on a waiver due to being a national "interest". 🙄

This is easy. You know how republicans talk about how trans people sexually exploit children and then it turns out it’s always republican men sexually exploiting children? Kind of the same thing. Republicans will say anything that they don’t like is communist then they will go hang out with and actually support real communists like Putin and Xi…

And they just reported like it’s a done deal? Congress represents the people and we make the laws. He can’t wave them away.
-
There’s no unringing the Trump bell. Europe and our allies can’t risk us electing someone like him again. The uncoupling between the US and our former allies continues regardless of who gets elected next. Trump gave Putin bigger wins than he could’ve possibly imagined.
-
Trump is assisting Russia who are allied with Iran. This isn’t working in the national interest, it’s straight up treason.
-
That only supports my argument, doesn't it? The problem isn't necessarily that he's breaking the law, but that the law grants the president such broad powers in the first place. Particularly when he can — also legally — circumvent many of the checks and balances.
-
that is not how passed congress laws work..... Trump needs removed for Treason

I agree. She is such a freaking tool. She won't debate and is basically telling Tennesseans that she know better and that they don't need to listen to opposing views because her views are the correct views. Really pisses me off.

I have one question: where did my country go? 😞

It's late enough now his base will just claim it's AI but also done by the deep state, Iran, liberals, transgenders, illegals, and anyone else they view as the other There is no escaping this hell hole

In an act of absolute stupidity our congress wrote Trump’s right to issue the waiver under national interest. We do not need Russian oil or diesel. Instead of using sanctions to force Putin to surrender Trump gives him a sack of carrots and a club to kill Ukrainian civilians.

Canadians are never coming back. Your president is in bed with a war criminal. Your president threatens to invade my country. Your newspaper is too worried about calling him a liar, targeting trans kids, and blaming ‘woke’. Fuck all the way off. You’re all clowns
