In a Truth Social post, Trump said the Houthis had 're-emerged' after a period of quiet 'probably at the behest of Iran' and were 'purposefully trying to drive up Oil Prices' ahead of the US elections, calling it 'NOT NICE' and vowing to 'never forget' the attacks on Saudi Arabia once the midterms pass.
“They've been silent for a long time, but now they've emerged again, probably at the behest of Iran... and purposefully trying to drive up Oil Prices, probably prior to the US Elections. NOT NICE.”
