⚡️ Musk says he wasn’t the one who restricted Starlink — and hints that Trump is behind it “Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS,” Elon Musk wrote on X. Now, pay

Ukraine’s Starlink access has been restricted without warning, adding to growing confusion about whether the United States has begun limiting intelligence and military aid to Ukraine.

A bipartisan Ukraine Caucus in the US Congress raised concerns over Starlink restrictions and a possible halt to intelligence sharing with Ukraine, warning this could leave civilians, including US citizens in Ukraine, more vulnerable to Russian attacks. # Ukraine

It breaks my heart to say that, and it is a serious question but... Is this the beginning of the end of this war? I hope someone will pull a trick to help Ukraine but since the end of the summer it seems like most political decisions are going in the favor of Russia ( Trump buying Russian oil, USA stoping to sell air defence to Ukraine, Starlink…

This drives home the point that depending on US companies for anything means you have to bow and pay tribute to the US regime or else they'll cut you off, even if the company itself doesn't want to. The US is currently an authoritarian regime without law.

BREAKING | 🇺🇸🇺🇦‼️‼️ Elon Musk has placed responsibility for restrictions on Ukraine’s Starshield satellite communications on the U.S. government, stating that American military leadership and ultimately President Donald Trump control the system’s operational limitations. Musk

Elon Musk said that Starshield, the military version of Starlink used by Ukrainian drones, is “owned and controlled by the US government" Musk wrote this after Ukrainian troops reported that the service was throttled overnight and a series of drone missions halted https:// euromaidanpress.com/2026/10/14…

Which part? The federal funding for research and development? The federal funding for satellite launches? The federal funding for Starlink rollout domestically and to strategic partners? The federal research for space flight that underlies all SpaceX rocket, satellite, and communications technologies? The federal funding and research for…

My recollection is Trump posted Zelensky had gone too far, mostly referring to hitting refineries and then Musk echoed he's gone to far. I don't think it's about data centers especially.

Europe is on the move. The first major fallout from Musk's ill-advised decision to cut off Starlink access for the Ukrainians—a service contracted and paid for by Europeans... 👉 EU 🇪🇺 telecom companies to be allowed to join forces to compete with Elon Musk's Starlink EU

If American tax dollars funded Starlink only congress should determine when & where it should be turned off. Anyone who turns it off should be deported.

Elon Musk now claims it is Trump who has restricted Ukraine's use of Musk's satellite internet. If that is true, a NATO partner is now preventing Ukraine from leveraging a key technology against the Russian invasion. Please ask Secretary General Mark Rutte, if a NATO partner can side with the enemy and still remain a NATO partner.

They never said that. The security assurances of the Budapest Memorandum were: Respect each other's sovereignty. Refrain from attacks or threats of attack. No economic coercion. Seek out the UN security council if conflict arises. Don't use nuclear weapons. Further, these were "assurances" not garauntees. Assurances aren't binding.

Isn't there a European system that could replace Starlink, and isn't there intelligence available from sources other than Trump's camp? It is time to take a hard line with the US regarding these demands. Let's defend Ukraine.

RE: https:// masto.ai/@ukraine/117442055836 065442 Let's be clear. As of right now use of the higher 'velocity' (over 160 kph) version of Starlink called StarShield, owned and operated by the US government, is still cut off. Ukraine's ability to intercept high speed incoming weaponry (drones and missiles) is handicapped. Ukrainian people will…

What happens if some future US military mission is say, counter-insurgency in Sudan and Elon decides "hmm, this isn't a priority the US government should be focusing on, no service for you"? This is even a good argument for the US government to develop their own equivalent capability since NASA will always jump when told to

Who still trusts or buys Elon Musk's products? The man sides with Putin and restricts Starlink operations, causing Ukrainians to die. Europeans need to boycott Musk's products and show that we stand with Ukraine.

The Washington Post reports that U.S. officials threatened to halt *all intelligence sharing* if Ukraine keeps striking Russian energy sites. Ukrainian forces report sudden military Starlink restrictions, but Kyiv is still assessing the cause. https://www. washingtonpost.com/world/2026/…

The small techbros that loves musk and musk products are definitely emotionally stunted and having some form of empathy deficiency. Every single one I've met has been gleefully bragging about how smart Trump and Musk are, and how they're investing everything into SpaceX and Nvidia and shit.

Elon Musk's tweet doesn't clarify much. Some facts: 1. It was Ukraine and Zelensky who told us Starlink - not just Starshield - had been disabled 2. Ukrainian troops use both, and Musk knows this well 3. Anyone can buy a Starlink terminal from Currys and use it for anything [embedded post]
