Presidential adviser Serhii 'Flash' Beskrestnov confirmed SpaceX had implemented a 160 kph speed restriction on Starshield's military package, and Ukraine's Defense Ministry said real-world speeds were even lower; the 7th Air Assault Corps reported cancelled drone missions in the Huliaipole sector.
“I confirm that (Starlink owner) SpaceX implemented speed restrictions on Starlink terminals while in motion last night.”

All coming into focus now as Musk cuts off Ukraine's Starlink amid drone operations to help Putin, his current attacks on the Indian government aimed at forcing them to adopt Starlink. Nations that become reliant on Starlink can be rendered defenseless once Musk decides to sell

Ukraine's access to Elon Musk’s Starlink has been restricted without warning, according to the presidential office, severely disrupting several military missions. https:// kyivindependent.com/this-canno t-be-a-coincidence-ukraines-starlink-access-restricted-without-warning-zelensky-adviser-says/

Unelected Musk interfering in foreign affairs. Again. Tax this fucker into oblivion.

The timing is interesting, given that it comes days after Musk said Ukraine had gone "too far" striking Yandex data centers. Putting other considerations aside, these strikes could be interpreted as direct retaliation against strikes on Ukrainian data centers days before. That said, depending on a single piece of tech is not a good idea (as…

ok so the issue is Starshield terminals. The starlink ones are locked to territory both inside Ukraine and that Ukraine controls. The were already subject to the 100mph limit. The Starshield terminals are now being limited to same movement limits but work outside Ukraine and are allowed to be used for weapons and military purposes. Basically…

SpaceX has implemented a 100 mph speed limit on Starlink terminals in motion, affecting the StarShield military package in Ukraine. Advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov states this unannounced change has disrupted several military missions. https:// t.me/serhii_flash/7807 # Ukraine # Russia # US # Musk # Starlink

I want to know how the guy(s) behind the switch in Starlink feels. Or the guys in Pentagon who knew the ballistic missile are coming on civilians in Kyiv, but they withheld the information because their pedophile President and alcoholic rapist War Secretary told them so. To hell with USA by now.

The temporal correlation with datacenter hits argued to take out Russian bot farms is striking...Normally I'd say "assume ignorance before incompetence before malice" but with the current US political climate it's usually all 3 at the same time.
-
So... one day Ukraine destroys a data centre in Russia with drones, bot activity on social media plummets, Elon getting much less likes than usual and in the next days he limits Starlinks capabilities and renders it basically useless for drones?! Did I miss something?
-
Elon Musk has reportedly restricted Starlink in Ukraine. Serhii Sternenko, an adviser to former Defense Minister Fedorov, wrote about this on Twitter. If true, it is catastrophic. @sternenko says that military equipment lost connectivity when traveling at speeds exceeding 160

If we win the mid-terms and the presidency in 2028, I want all of his contracts voided with the U.S. government. If Jack Smith becomes our next AG, I want Musk investigated.
-
When you think about it - wouldn't disabling the Starlink system completely remove or at the very least vastly reduce the threat posed by Iranian drones over the Strait of Hormuz? I bet its all bootstrapped with starlink internet.
-
Thats not how it works. It's called compromise, a word that seems lost today. One side not agreeing to another demands 100% is not negotiation. Either way, you appear to prefer slaughter of Ukrainian and Russian drafted soldiers than compromise.

Last night, Ukraine 🇺🇦 suffered from a large restriction access to Starlink, which speed was limited to 160km/h and later to 70km/h This action taken by Elon Musk or the Pentagon 🇺🇸 puts an end to mid-range strikes against Russian 🇷🇺 logistics in occupied territories and to the

Many Starlink terminals in Ukraine are financed by Poland. Its Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has put Elon Musk on notice regarding the evolving situation.
-
They can only "win" by using dirty tricks...absolutely disgusting. I hope that Muskrat rots in hell, can't come fast enough...
-
> That said, depending on a single piece of tech is not a good ideaYes and putting a CEO of a tech company in command of strategic infrastructure is not a good idea either.
-
Serhii Beskretnov, adviser from Zelenski, explicitly stated that the speed limit was applied to StarShield terminals. They don't use civilian Starlink, lol why would they. Media is using Starlink for us normal people for easier recognition.
-
Further speed reduction to 60-70km/h according to Sternenko. Losing Starlink now puts the majority of Ukraine's mid-strike portfolio out of action, as only a handful of the more expensive platforms (RAM-2X and HX-2 for example) can be used without it.

Trump und Musk haben jetzt offensichtlich die Seiten gewechselt. Ukrainian soldiers in combat have access to Starlink satellite internet restricted https://www. theguardian.com/world/2026/oct /14/ukraine-soldiers-combat-access-starlink-satellite-internet-restricted # ukraine # trumpisarussianasset # TrumpIsATraitor # Musk

This is why it was such a stupid mistake ever to let Elon Musk gain a monopoly over satellite tech. He is not a trustworthy supplier of anything.
-
Long range mesh on planes? Otherwise, it's pretty difficult to setup base stations in your enemies territory.
