Under the hood, it uses the [same technology](https://www.mozillafoundation.org/de/research/library/extending-the-same-origin-policy-with-origin-attributes/) that we use for our core security architecture around Same-Origin-Policy and process isolation. We are actively hunting for bugs in the area and committed to fixing them :)

I’m a heavy user of multi-account containers. I also use another helper extending which lets you set domain rules, e.g. “*.ibm.com goes in the ibm container”. That functionality in the first party implementation would be awesome.

I don’t get it. Are you making fun of some past behavior from the Mozilla marketing team? Care to share what happened?

I use Firefox as my main browser for both work and personal stuff, and having tabs on different containers is very handy. Like, having two gmail (/Google) sessions open on different containers and things just…

How? I've been using it for 10 years and the only thing I could think off the top of my head is: how to create a new tab with a shortcut, and I don't see a way to do that with 10 containers without breaking my fingers or mixing up keybinds. maybe a modal popup.

I use multi-account containers pretty much all the time and I hope this improves the experience. Right now I find the UX a bit unintuitive and sometimes difficult to work with. Plus, I don't think it synchs across my account.
