You really should actually read the article first. So far as I can tell, there's no detail on this prison policy or how it would, in any way, help Peterson. So it's an example of nothing at the moment. This is just a ragebait headline.

Deciding that some humans simply don't count as real people has real historical precedent. That precedent is horrific, though. You should rethink your perspective so that you're not openly agreeing with Hitler.

I think the writer of the article imagined it. I scoured the article and found absolutely zero detail about this prison policy nor how, in any way it would benefit Peterson or any other murderer.

The proposed change is not specifically for people convicted of murder. It just allows the potential for resentencing convicts with long sentences.
