They thought Covid was the reason for the massive failures in the first trump administration so they voted for the " businessman " again. It's him. It's always him. He was $13 billion in debt in 2016. Not anymore.

🟠 UPDATE US Inflation Rises in September Ahead of Midterms The US CPI rose 3.7% in September, exceeding market expectations. The increase was driven by soaring gasoline prices resulting from rising international oil costs. 📰 https://www. msn.com/en-xl/money/economy/us -cpi-jumps-3-7-raising-federal-reserve-rate-hike-chances/ar-AA2eedAo # USA #…

>The CPIs are based on prices of food, clothing, shelter, fuels, transportation, doctors' and dentists' services, drugs, and other goods and services that people buy for day-to-day living.Convenient how it doesn't also include housing cost increases, as if that's not part of day-to-day living, like we're all snails carrying our house on our back…

This unbearable inflation that the majority of Americans are suffering through is b/c of Trump's tariffs & his war, & him putting pressure on the Fed & its members to lower interest rates when they should've been raising them.

> CPI for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U)And CPI is "Consumer Price Index", aka inflation measurement. For anyone unfamiliar with the title. (Like me)
-
Thanks Donald Trump!! Only you are responsible for high inflation and the higher costs of everything!!
-
Highly likely there will be no rate cuts for the rest of this year. Higher for longer and the fed is going to either hold or increase interest rates.
-
The '70s kicked-off with wage & price controls under President Nixon. Later, President Ford tried to tackle inflation with his W.I.N. (Whip Inflation Now) program. I had one of his WIN buttons but, sadly, that was lost to time over 30 years ago.

I’m worried in 6 months we’re going to look back at this time fondly because of what is about to come in terms of pricing/inflation. Businesses haven’t really pushed prices out from things like diesel, etc. About to get worse. Maybe so bad that even the GOP will impeach Trump.
-
Headline is hot, core is sticky. 3.7% year-over-year + 0.6% month-over-month + real earnings down 0.5% = prices up, pay down. That's the combo the Fed hates.
-
But... but POTUS, his cabinet, and his press secretary keep telling us inflation is down and the economy is booming.
-
If you are a billionaire it absolutely is the best economy in history!!!
-
With Diesel where it is I would expect food inflation to pick up soon, too
-
And only 30,000 jobs added in September..
-
Hmmm so let me see if I can do the math on this….got my pencil & paper…so let’s see here…mumbling to myself….that would be 2….carry the 1…..incoherent mumbling….bring down the 4, put my decimal point… mumbling…mumbling…yea I think that’s right..so does that mean inflation actually rose 4.2%?🤦🏽♀️
-
I don't know where they get their numbers. My grocery bill is like 37% higher, not 3.7%. Used car prices have doubled (yet oddly not trade-in values.)
-
This is all lip service. If elected, the Republicans will revert to passively backing whatever Trump does. Expect more damage to America. Vote Blue!
-
This should surprise absolutely no one who actually spends the money and has to balance their checking account.
-
Is this inflation report bad for the GOP three weeks before the midterms? It seems bad for them.
-
And these are the numbers they’re releasing. Imagine what the real numbers are!
-
I didn’t need that statistic to know this. Yesterday’s shopping showed me.
-
Trump can afford, his toadies also, so it's decided, it's a hoax.
