He had multiple opportunities to finish his story. He could've done with it the 2008 movie and he had 2 extra seasons of tv. Carter didn't and his excuse was always "well then the show is over". No thanks. I love the X-Files but his storylines were the weakest element of the entire series. The show excelled as a monster of the week show and that is all I need.
