Israel recieves some 3.8 billion a year in military aid from the US. Aid it must spend on buying US arms. It is not for free. And the Iranian budget is definitely bigger than that.

I just did. US tax payers have to pay on average 2.5 times more in taxes as a percentage of their earnings. Additionally, Iranian military budget is miniscule, as low as $10-$15 billion, and almost completely subsidized by oil revenue, meaning nearly none of the taxes Iranians pay go towards military spending.
