Most athletes I know aren’t too scared of playing against the other gender In fact, I’ve seen young women run circles around guys on the basketball court The real issue with sports is that men, in general, can’t handle losing to women

The reason there are teams specifically for women is that the men wouldn’t let them play on teams with them

I was head coach girls soccer for over decade and during practice we would scrimmage the boys team. My team was competitive with very tough girls. They beat the shit out of these boys, literally.

The real issue is that at their core sports are stupid sets of rules to help children develop physically and build coordination but simple adults have co-opted them and built their identities around them.

Remember Caitlyn Clark has records for both genders of college basketball! I am also sure that those women athletes could still kick the asses of 99.9% of men!
-
Which is quite literally the point! Serena Williams would beat 99% of men. Charley Hull would beat 99% of men. Lucy Charles Barclay would beat 99% of men. Not a single one, or any other female athlete ever, would make it as a pro if you didn’t divide athletes by sex.

My son was in youth wrestling. I've watched a few girls who mopped the mat with every boy there. The boys HATED it!

On average, no. The average male would defeat the average female. There are always outliers, but this is just a fun little word party you're all having.

Back in the early 80’s my younger sister and I would take on guys in basketball. Never lost! My sister had a great shot and a crossover dribble that left her opponent wondering what just happened 😂 She was also a great softball player, line drive hitter and always on base. She was an amazing athlete.

I do martial arts, often sparring against women in the club. They’re no easier opponents than the men. Even the smaller ones where you might think you have a size/strength advantage. They are strong and tough.
