Drones have too much range for modern version of rolling barrage to work. You can't weed out entrenched enemy from such large areas. Ruskies have some success with glide bombs, but at some point you could argue that you don't even need the mechanized units when you are already carpet bombimg the whole battlefield.

while i agree the onus of proving the payments is on the sources and we should thus dismiss it as it remains unverified, the other arguments against it aren't as airtight. the iranians have long produced differing and contradictory statements about events in the war, owing to the fractured communication lines and the differing factions acting with…

Russian Diesel Flows Are Lowest in Years as Drones Hit Refiners https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-08-13/russian-diesel-flows-are-lowest-in-years-as-drones-hit-refiners Russian diesel exports dropped to a fresh multiyear low in early August as Moscow restricted fuel exports in the face of attacks on the country’s refineries. Diesel and…

Also US also cut a massive mining deal with Kazakhstan, and a company with Trump's sons just happens to have won development rights.

Show me videos of JDAMs and GBUs being used deep inside Iran. How would you know what’s a JDAM and what’s a GBU and what’s a standoff missile? There are literally dozens of reports from every credible source available that they were being employed. We have pictures of B-52s taking off with JDAMs and retuning to Fairford sans JDAMs. It’s also…

A bit of an inquiry here, does anyone know where I can find a database of publicly acknowledged US military aircraft losses from 2024-2026? Including accidents, crashes, combat losses, etc? I try looking it up but every time it only gives me Iran war losses.
-
Show me videos of JDAMs and GBUs being used deep inside Iran. You are are dumb and biased towards the US. They suffered not only a tactical, but also a strategic defeat. Extremely constrained by the expenditure of stand-off munition and by Iranian missiles and US bases being evacuated close tô Iranian borders.
-
Come on man, be serious. You’re doing the thing you did in the Ukraine war. There are literally a dozen videos of jets doing straffing runs inside Iran. Slow fat bombers dropping JDAMS in Tehran and further east. The rescue operation with multiple low flying copters hovering in place right over urban areas in large cities. The airbase built right…

Ineffective by the fact that Iran launched the majority of their missiles stockpile, Iran still can shot down US aircraft and the US Air force won't go deep inside iran and the fact that multiple MSM outlets report the same, Iran still hold a sizeable part of their arsenal and at current pace they can rebuild their forces. So yeah, i rather trust…

You are looking at everything to confirm your bias. I just mentioned that the US was using non-standoff a month before the ceasefire (non-anonymous officials were talking about it in early March), that was ignored by you. Then it was that being used isn't the same of being the only being used, this statement only talks about the advantage of the…

Have you even read the articule i posted? The general literally said what i've said. "“It’s an unmanned platform, so we get a lot of utility out of them, and don’t put our folks at risk,” Wilsbach said" The MQ-9 is doing the most dangerous missions, the US is doing the most it can to avoid USAF airplanes shot down in enemy territory, that is why…

Thanks for the correction on that, I had read before by an anonymous official (the words 'heavy lifting') and thought it was the only one. Now, you didn't address the remaining of my post and that doesn't support the claim that explains the low number of manned aircraft shot down (made many strikes, isn't to say it's the only one used). New…
-
No It was not a anonymous official, it was actually a US general. https://www.airandspaceforces.com/mq-9-reaper-mvp-iran-war-despite-losses-wilsbach/ "For Epic Fury, perhaps the most valuable player was unmanned: the MQ-9,” Wilsbach told the House Armed Services Committee, responding to a question from Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) on the Air Force’s…
-
An anonymous official claiming the Reaper does the heavy lifting isn't the same of saying that they are the only ones being used. You have no data to say what percentage of strike missions were done by each airframe. By the way, you are not refuting, because I even claimed the drones shot down while scud hunting (low altitude and loitering for a…

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2026/08/13/us-military-has-lost-roughly-25-its-reaper-drones-iran-war-depletes-arsenal/ Note this was only in Iran, the US also lost 2 dozen against the houthis in 2024. My point is not about the atrittion rate, but to refute the point that the US only lost 2 manned aircraft and the MQ-9(which dos…

The part I'm addressing is you bringing in claims about sinking the USS Lincoln while altering a quote to gramatically change it from about Iran to be from Iran. It is fundamentally not a part of credible discourse to decide you get to change the speaker in a sentence. Again, I'm not talking about the whole article, but rather the fact that you…

https://www.wsj.com/us-news/trump-orders-navy-to-restore-old-technology-in-aircraft-carriers-costing-billions-0055ec1b https://archive.ph/4T0Ex This headline is very misleading, since it seems to say the existing ships will have the EMALS removed. President Trump has directed the Navy to tear out a complex system for launching jet fighters from…

Russia is trying to move their Wildberries warehousing to Khazakstan I just want to point out that setting those up will take time and money and that it makes as much sense to fulfill orders from St. Petersburg from the closest border in Khazakstan as it does to fulfill orders in Berlin from Barcelona. Actually it makes more sense since Berlin is…

MQ-9 Reaper Where did you get that we lost that many? It is my understanding that we had less than 200 and that manufacturing was halted while we looked for a replacement. Not saying that they are not being used the way that they should be and would much rather lose one of them instead of one of our planes/pilots.
-
Shot down 2 manned planes while faced 300 to 500 airstrikes every day the US only lost 2 jets because the US is afraid of striking deeper inside Iran after expending a lot of their standoff munitons, that is why after the ceasefire the US never even hit tehran once let alone going deeper inside the country, the MQ-9 Reaper has been doing the heavy…

By the way, knowing they will face the US and Israel they should invest more in AD, not on wastes of money like Shahid Bagheri and Makran. I mean they should to stop free roaming of enemy airplanes. But missiles are again good counter to everything else. Harder staging in potentional massing of troops for ground invasion of Iran and attacking on…
-
that's part of the assesment but the implication is that Israeli intelligence has gathered the info themselves and reached the conclusion. 2 downed planes is arguably plenty to dissuade the USA from a non existential war in this day and age. rescue missions are risky. they are about maxed out in terms of AD tech. too sanctioned like I said and…
-
did you read the article? this is from Israeli officials. its not Iran saying anything. "statements by senior Iranian officials that it is now producing new weapons again at a much faster pace than expected." That's what I'm rebating. You even wrote in your post "Iran said...". The israeli officials are unnamed sources and we have no clue on how…

did you read the article? this is from Israeli officials. its not Iran saying anything. the nuclear file has already been widely discussed in osint circles, the going theory is that Trump's loud mouth gave iran plenty of time to move their stuff from fordow to pickax mountain irans AD will never be great. they are too sanctioned. its very…
