Tatum is very good at this. Making the right pass at the right time with a clean pass allows the offense to keep moving even if the first pass doesnt ebd up as an assist.

Way too many pickup games turn into guys taking turns going one on one, so naturally everyone else starts standing around. most pick up games are barely basketball.

How is getting doubled and stripped better than dribbling off his foot out of bounds? If anything you would think that getting stripped while doubled would generally happen closer to or in the backcourt and result in a 2 on 1 transition opportunity making it even worse than most other live ball turnovers

Doing fakes without the ball. Hesi fakes to lose defenders and find the open space. Pass fakes to open up easier lanes, find shooters in open space or make defense turn their heads.

Cutting. Just forcing the defense to be on their toes constantly is worth a lot even if you don't get open or get the pass.
