Trump will start a ground war in Iran immediately after the midterms for his next political campaign. The US will be bankrupted. No one wants to buy his Treasury Bonds because of our credit rating. Grab a tent and a can of beans because that's what we can look forward to.

Welp. Ms. Gill, if you are actually a Russian agent and you surround yourself with those in service to Russia and then you start a war you never intended to win but rather to bankrupt our nation and waste our weapons, I would think it would be rather easy to lose the war

Can’t be that hard or unlikely: Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cuba (Bay of Pigs), etc. In fact, since helping the allies in WW2, the US’s war-winning record is dismal. Hence no one is surprised about Iran.

Trump never considered the Iranians would shut down the Strait of Hormuz. And prevent US military access to the Persian Gulf. Where are *all* of the US military bases located? Look at the map. I'll bet each one of the generals and admirals Hegseth fired could answer this one instantly.

Not really. Times have changed. The US thinks it's military is the mightiest but with drones being 100th or less the cost of actual missiles, even poorer countries are on solid ground in defense from larger countries with huge military budgets. See the Russia invasion for context.

And yet we lost in Vietnam, Afghanistan and now Iran. Mostly due to Republican shitheads. And that is not even counting Iraq which was a draw...at best.

Very easy to lose, actually. That’s why all other administrations have avoided the Iran quagmire. It’s why we’re very “careful” with China (never won a S. China Sea game) Much like our acute care medical system - the military industrial complex costs a lot of money for little return at the margins.
